Chapter 34

The trip to New Zealand was divided into two parts. The South Island followed by the North Island.

From our discussions and research back in the US, it seemed more logical to divide our living arrangements as such. So, for the first half of the trip, we'd travelled, sometimes with an overnight stay if the return trip was too gruelling for Dad.

From the Fiorland National Park where we took a boat to visit the spectacular Lady Bowen Falls to Kaikoura where we rented a private boat to spend the day observing pods of sometimes ten Orcas passing us by, we were able to bask in the beauty of the land of the Kiwis. Marlon and I even got a couple of mornings in for surfing although the temperatures weren’t yet ideal. Hawaii and Japan were incredible, giving me the opportunity to relax and learn a lot about the local customs, languages, and food. But New Zealand was a feast for my eyes and soul.

All of this coupled with the attentions of one sexy Marlon Brooks, I was in heaven. For the first time in my life I felt free and relaxed. My dad's illness not so much a burden but a task to take care of before enjoying our days.

As we finished our last couple of days on the north island, mainly in Auckland, visiting Hobbiton, the movie set for Lord of the Rings' Shire, we simply had fun. Enjoyed each other’s company and overwhelmed our senses with the beauty of our surroundings.

Dad's mood swings were getting worse, as was his chorea, so much so that speaking was becoming too frustrating.

But when we were out, he was just as mesmerized by the scenery as I was. It was magical, really.

"A cave, huh?" I asked Marlon, as he prepared the barbecue for dinner. We'd rented a house in Auckland with a view of the harbor and the sounds of nature early in the morning.

"A cave, yes," he answered, turning to me with a wink and a grin that made my lady parts tingle.

I was turning into a sex fiend. Ever since our first time in Queenstown, with the backdrop of the snow-capped mountains and the bluest of lakes, my body had been craving him, morning, noon, and night. It was like he'd awakened my inner slut and she was intent on sticking around.

"Is that to match your caveman fantasies?" I asked in jest but the look he threw my way, after making sure my father wasn't within hearing distance, coupled with his words, "I'll show you caveman, tonight, little bird," caused my pussy to clench with want.

Crossing my legs to stave off the need to rub myself off, I turned my head to the delicious visual of Marlon, his open white button down offering me a delectable view of his toned abs.

"I heard that," my father said, from the kitchen, turning my cheeks into red, hot lava.

"Thanks for that," I mouthed to Marlon who didn't seem to care at this point.

He and I being together was difficult to hide from my father, so we didn't even try.
